Checked out our newsletter celebrating the London art scene yet?

A lovely community of London art lovers has been growing around our free weekly newsletter, exploring the city's art world and covering everything from big-name exhibitions to small neighbourhood galleries, installations, sculpture festivals, textile art, aerial photography, public art, artist talks, free events and more.

There are also paid subscriber options, with regular bonus features, reviews, access to the full archives and other community perks. And because we're in a spring mood — and it's that time of year when suddenly the idea of sculpture trails and gallery-hopping and exploring everything London's art world has to offer sounds so exciting again — we're running a spring discount offer for paid subscribers. There'll be 20% off our paid subscriptions till 14 March, just in time for the bank holiday weekend season to start...

Here's everything you need to know.

What's Londonist: Urban Palette, again?

We launched Londonist: Urban Palette in January — curated by our visual arts editor, Tabish Khan, a man so into his art that he visits over 1,000 museums and galleries every year.

And a huge thanks to everybody who's signed up already — we have a lovely community of nearly 2,000 subscribers now, with a free weekly read sent every Monday, gathering up some of the biggest news, reviews, interviews and insights from London's art world.

What kind of content can paid subscribers expect?

Regular extra features, for a start. This month paid subscribers have also been sent:

There's also full access to the archives and behind-the-scenes perks like reader chat sessions with Tab.

How much will it cost?

Paid subscriptions are £5 a month, or just £45 for a full year (that works out around 86p per week!) And if you sign up with our Leap Year offer (available till 14 March 2024) we're offering 20% off.

Just visit the link above to check out the different subscription options.

A whole bunch of you have already have already pledged for paid subscriptions, and we're massively grateful for the support. If that's you, you don't need to do anything, it'll upgrade automatically!

If you're already a subscriber, you can upgrade your subscription and access the 20% discount right here — it only takes a couple of minutes. That also makes it great for last minute gifting (we're biased, of course, but we think it'd make a great present for the London fanatic in your life).

What if I don't want to pay?

Good news! You don't have to. Our weekly newsletter will remain completely free to read. Check it out here, or subscribe for free now and get future editions emailed to you every week.

And a massive thanks for all the support — free or paid, we'd love to have you join the community...
